1. Who We Are

Genre Radio (onlineradio.sk) is a free music streaming service featuring original, AI-generated music. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. What We Collect

We aim to collect as little data as possible. Here is what we process:

Automatically collected:

• IP address — temporarily used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Playback records store a one-way fingerprint instead of the raw address, and we do not use it for tracking.
• Session cookie — an HTTP-only cookie (radio_session) keeps playback working and contains an opaque credential for purchases made in this browser. It expires after one year without renewal.
• Playback statistics — short-lived playback records include song, timing and a keyed IP fingerprint. Aggregate play counts remain after those records are deleted.

When you make a purchase:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or process your credit card number.
• We retain an order identifier, Stripe session ID, song, agreed price/currency, payment status and fulfillment dates, associated with an opaque browser credential. These records support purchase recovery and prevent duplicate fulfillment. We do not store names, email addresses or billing details from Stripe webhook data.

We do NOT collect:

• Email addresses (no accounts, no registration)
• Names or personal identifiers
• Location data (beyond IP-based country for rate limiting)
• Browser fingerprints

3. Analytics

We use Logbiter as an external analytics processor to understand general site usage such as page views and visitor counts. Analytics requests exclude URL search parameters, and Logbiter does not receive song deep-link or checkout query values from these pages.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie:

• radio_session — Required for playback and same-browser purchase recovery. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax; renewed during use and expires after one year without renewal. CSRF tokens expire separately after 24 hours. No advertising cookies are used.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing for song downloads. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Logbiter — our analytics processor for aggregate site-usage measurements.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks. We self-host our fonts to avoid sending your IP address to Google servers.

6. Data Storage & Retention

• Closed granular playback sessions are deleted after 24 hours by periodic cleanup. Aggregate play counts and last-played timestamps remain.
• Download links expire 24 hours after payment verification and are removed by periodic cleanup.
• Minimal purchase records are retained to provide purchase history and prevent expired links being recreated through payment-event retries.
• Favorites, queue and listening preferences are stored locally in your browser. Clearing site storage removes them; clearing cookies also removes access to same-browser purchase history.
• We do not require an account.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Contact us about access, correction, deletion or other data requests. We may need information about your purchase to locate the relevant records and verify your request.

Our data-minimization measures include:

• Self-hosted fonts (no requests to Google servers)
• No third-party tracking or advertising
• Minimal cookie usage (essential only)
• No registration or marketing profiles

8. Children's Privacy

Genre Radio does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not require registration or collect personal data, the service is accessible to all ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
