1. Who We Are

Genre Radio (onlineradio.sk) is a free music streaming service featuring original, AI-generated music. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. What We Collect

We aim to collect as little data as possible. Here is what we process:

Automatically collected:

• IP address — temporarily used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Playback records store a one-way fingerprint instead of the raw address, and we do not use it for tracking.
• Session cookie — a short-lived, HTTP-only cookie (radio_session) that keeps your player session working. It contains no personal information and expires in 24 hours.
• Playback statistics — we record which songs are played and for how long (play counts, durations). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it is not tied to any user identity.

When you make a purchase:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or process your credit card number.
• We receive a Stripe session ID to link your payment to a download token. We do not receive your name, email, or billing address unless Stripe provides it as part of their standard webhook data.

We do NOT collect:

• Email addresses (no accounts, no registration)
• Names or personal identifiers
• Location data (beyond IP-based country for rate limiting)
• Browser fingerprints

3. Analytics

We use a lightweight, privacy-focused analytics tool to understand general site usage (page views, visitor counts). This tool does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not share data with third parties.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie:

• radio_session — Required for the player to function (session verification, CSRF protection). HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, expires in 24 hours. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing for song downloads. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks. We self-host our fonts to avoid sending your IP address to Google servers.

6. Data Storage & Retention

• Playback statistics (anonymous play counts) are stored indefinitely for the stats page.
• Download tokens are stored until used or expired (24 hours).
• Session data expires after 24 hours.
• We do not maintain user profiles or accounts.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we do not collect personal data that identifies you, most GDPR data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply in practice. However, if you believe we hold any data about you, contact us and we will assist you.

We have taken the following steps for GDPR compliance:

• Self-hosted fonts (no requests to Google servers)
• No third-party tracking or advertising
• Minimal cookie usage (essential only)
• No user accounts or personal data collection

8. Children's Privacy

Genre Radio does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not require registration or collect personal data, the service is accessible to all ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
